Join Tees Archaeology on a dig at Heighington Station this September, as part of the FoSDR Festival. Uncover the past and learn new skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Festival of the Stockton and Darlington Railway. In the first two weeks of September, Tees Archaeology will be doing a community excavation at Heighington Station, the oldest passenger station in the world!
You don’t need any prior experience…just come along and join in with the dig. We provide all tools, gloves, water, hot drinks and our famous Scooby snacks 🙂
You just need sturdy footwear, a raincoat, a packed lunch and a good sense of fun.
