Regarding the rescue and conservation of part of Edward Pease’s house in Darlington. There has been some progress and the planning and listed building consent applications are now in. We have worked hard with the architects and the Borough Council to come up with an achievable solution that restores and protects at least part of this building, so let’s hope for a smooth journey through the planning process.
