Come and get to know the remarkable Mr William Lister, a lesser-known character of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. In this talk by Gillian Bryant, hear how his life developed from a poor child in Durham, to a wealthy business man in Darlington; and view some of the maps,books and documents which provided evidence of William’s life-story.
